  The Open Door Program

More and more first-time homebuyers are watching their dreams of homeownership slip away.  Rising home prices and living expenses throughout the Northeast have made it impossible to save for down payments and closing costs.  Credit scoring systems have lead to tighter credit guidelines for many lenders.  Add to that the lack of homes for sale and first-time homeownership has become increasing difficult.

In an effort to eliminate these roadblocks and to increase first-time homeownership, American United created The Open Door Program.

The Open Door Program is a series of loans designed to provide opportunities to people that may otherwise not qualify for financing. Program features include; Zero-to-low down payment options, reduced interest rates, and expanded credit guidelines that can make home buying more affordable even for those with past credit issues.
